Yes, It is OK to delete a sales job from cixus. Of course there is always the question about removing historical information as onces it's gone, there is no turning back. The other thing to consider is that if there are archived deliveries for that job, then deleting the job is not recommended as the delivery information links back to the job and this may confuse the software and affect some of the reports.
If there is no reason to ever refer to that job again and all its deliveries are still Active, then you can delete it.
It is a good idea to delete all its attached deliveries first or they will need to be deleted through Cart control (for outgoing call-offs) and then Delivery information to delete any GRN
Deleting a Pending Sales Job:
a) deliveries
Sales Order Jobs > work in Progress > Pending Jobs
Find the job > display the sales job specification > Next through the Job wizard until you get to the Job Delivery form
Existing Deliveries for this job > Delete the delivery note (this will delete the highlighted Dnote shown in the report section of this form)
Existing call-off carts for the Job > Delete this request and call off cart (this will delete the highlighted cart shown in the report section of this form)
b) the sales job
Sales Order Jobs > work in Progress > Pending Jobs
Find the job > display the sales job specification > Delete the sales job and its components
